Aroos

2024 3 min, single-channel VHS, loop. AROOS considers the wedding videotape as an object. Presented as a continuous loop, the work shifts attention from the singular narrative of a wedding to the material life of the VHS tape object. Using family footage recorded in 2010, AROOS revisits the aesthetics of analogue videography, saturated colour, graphic transitions, and repeated sequences.
