Bound to the Dark

(2026) Woodcut on plywood 140cm x 100cm The carved plywood block becomes the finished work. The surface holds the pressure of the carving, making the image feel embedded within the material rather than placed upon it. Through repeated acts of removal, the work reveals the grain and texture of the wood itself.
